Tattoos are my expression

lower back heart tattoo The first one I received was in December of 2005. I had just left my husband and was waiting for our divorce to be final. I wanted to remember this day, the day I let myself be MYSELF!!! I got it to remind me of my independence and that I do not need to rely on anyone to get by in life. I can do it all with hard work, dedication, and the love of friends and family. I got a heart with tribal lines on my lower back. My second tattoo was a memorial tattoo for my Nanny. She was my best friend, I could go to her for anything. I never will have a best friend like her and I will probably never have a friend like her again. I got it on my left foot so I know I can keep on walking with her in my heart. The pic isn't to good but it is a rose, which was her favorite flower and I colored it blue because that was our favorite color.
