Tattoo Removal Methods

YES! Tattoo removal is possible. Tattoos don't have to be forever.

There are a number of tattoo removal methods out there claiming to remove tattoos, but do they all deliver?

To help you with your tattoo research we have done some of the leg work.

Listed below are some of the removal methods you maybe aware of - or even considering. But First, in order to understand how a tattoo can be removed, we must understand how tattoos work.

How Do Tattoos Work?

When the tattoo gun punctures through the first layer of skin, the epidermis, it deposits ink into the second layer called the dermis. The dermis is where the ink or pigment comes in contact with the body's immune system. To keep this simple the immune system cannot remove the particles of ink, because they are too large, so they coat the ink with collagen to protect the other cells in the body. It's your body's immune system that retains the ink in place resulting in a tattoo.

So keeping in mind how tattoos work - we are better equipped to choose how to have that tattoo removed.
