Swallow Bird Tattoo

I had wanted a tattoo ever since I graduated high school, but never could decide on what exactly I wanted.

For over 5 years I went back and forth between idea after idea. I wanted something unique, feminine, and something that spoke to me.

A friend of mine suggested that I look into bird tattoos. After doing a little research, I realized that the swallow bird was exactly what I was looking for. Small enough to be feminine and versatile enough to create a unique design. On top of all of this, its meaning was perfect for what I was going through. The swallow bird tattoo symbolizes various things. The two that touched my soul were the symbolism of victory over hardship, and the symbolism of loyalty to family.

The swallow tattoo idea was in every way perfect for me. I printed out 3 pictures that I liked, took them to the artist, and he was able to put all three pictures into one and still add a little extra. He did an amazing job! I love my swallow tattoo! Every time I see it, it makes me smile!
