dove and rose tattoo

I chose this because of my Grandma.
She raised me and when she died I was torn apart. Her favorite song was on the wings of a dove and she had planned her entire funeral before she died,she had lukemia. Everything was pink roses so I had the dove carry a pink rose in its mouth.

It means a lot to me.....

ive already got a tat for my nanny that says R.I.P Nanny Dec. 3 2010 an i love it but im also going to add a dove with a rose in its mouth an on the im going to put my little sunshine bc thts what she sung to me all the time an on the other side im going to put a cross with thorns that christ had around his head an blood dripping down but im drawing all of it right now an it looks good so far an i cant wait for the results because it will be all worth it in the end. R.I.P nanny love ya see you in heaven soon.

This is spooky i'm getting a dove tattoo in 2 weeks with the word on the wings of a dove in memory of my nan who always sang that line from that song. Myself and my sister spent a lot of time with her before she passed away in December. Lovely tattoo btw maybe i'll add mine on in a few weeks.

The tattoo looks so beautiful I love how it is a simple design with such a powerful meaning behind it. I think that is a lovely idea and will always mean a lot to you, the pink rose in the mouth of the dove was a very good idea.
